PNY Announces Availability of its XLR8 2GB Performance Memory Kits
PARSIPPANY, N.J. – March 22, 2007 – PNY Technologies® Inc. announced today immediate availability of its XLR8TM Blue and Gold 2GB memory kits—boasting speeds and low latencies that exceed industry standard specifications. Each XLR8 module features a new custom heat sink designed to provide superior heat extraction for enhanced reliability and endurance under the high-stress conditions such as gaming, file compression, and video editing.
All PNY Technologies’ XLR8 memory modules are NVIDIA® SLI™-Ready certified. The NVIDIA SLI certification process puts each module through a rigorous set of diagnostic tests including benchmarking, continuous burn-in, and SLI motherboard and graphics card interoperability.
The Blue SKUs open up the XLR8 line with a range of performance specifications:
800 MHz PC2-6400 – Modules perform at latency settings of 4-4-4-12 at 2.1 volts. MSRP $259.99
