CalDigit Launches the TS4 Thunderbolt 4 Dock

We are delighted to introduced the brand new CalDigit Thunderbolt Station 4, or TS4, offering a staggering 18 ports of connectivity in order to expand even the most demanding of workflows. This powerful new dock is available from today in the US, UK, EU, and available in the Rest of the World in Mid-March 2022. First introduced in 2013, the Thunderbolt Station line of docks have become highly acclaimed, and considered amongst the best in the docking category. The TS4 continues this trend by introducing class-leading features not available on other Thunderbolt 4 docks.

With 18 ports of connectivity, the TS4 leads the way in the wealth of connectivity options it provides. At a time when other Thunderbolt 4 docks on the market generally offer in the realm of 11 ports, the TS4 not only provides more ports, it represents incredible value. Included in the TS4's 18 ports is a full size DisplayPort 1.4 connector. The majority of Thunderbolt 4 docks at this time do not include a built-in video port. The TS4 makes it easier to connect a monitor directly to the dock without the need for an adapter.
98 W Power Delivery
The TS4's 98 W power delivery is the fastest available from a Thunderbolt 4 dock. This power delivery is almost the maximum that Thunderbolt can provide, making it ideal for even the most demanding of laptops.

2.5 Gigabit Ethernet
Not only does the TS4 provide the most ports, and the fastest power delivery, it also has the fastest ethernet port on a Thunderbolt 4 dock. The 2.5GbE port on the TS4 is 2.5X faster than standard Gigabit Ethernet. Anyone using a router, NAS, or a wired network with 2.5GbE performance or above will benefit from faster performance. The 2.5GbE port is of course backwards compatible with standard 1GbE devices. 2.5GbE performance requires a Thunderbolt host and 2.5GbE compatible devices or above.

8x USB Ports
Not only does the TS4 provide 8x USB ports, all of those USB ports offer 10 Gb/s performance. There are 5x USB-A ports, and 3x USB-C ports. One of the front USB-C ports offers up to 20 W power delivery that will provide faster charging for devices. All of the USB ports, apart from 2x USB-A ports on the back of the TS4, provide offline charging which allow users to charge devices connected to the TS4 even when the TS4 is not connected to a host device.

Thunderbolt 4
The TS4 offers 3x Thunderbolt 4 (40 Gb/s) ports. One of the Thunderbolt ports is used to connect to the host computer and the remaining ports can be used to add additional devices. Users can connect monitors, SSDs, and more.

Single 8K or Dual 6K Monitors
Users on Windows can connect a single monitor up to 8K resolution, and users on macOS can connect up to a single 6K 60 Hz monitor. When connecting dual monitors Windows users can connect up to dual 4K 60 Hz monitors, and macOS users on M1 Pro or M1 Max computers can connect up to dual 6K 60 Hz monitors. Users on original M1 computers cannot connect dual monitors as original M1 computers do not support dual displays.

Price & Availability
The TS4 will be available Mid-March.
The TS4 is priced at $359.95 in the US, £324.99 in the UK, and €324.99 (EU price excludes VAT).

Single display port and two thunderbolt downstreams in place of direct display outs (either dp or hdmi), this is targeted at big spenders :D

I'd say the price reflects the current inflation rate or close to it.
