ZOTAC Intros RTX 3090 Ti PGF OC Graphics Card in China

The Chinese market gets the very best of ZOTAC, with the company launching its flagship GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card there, the RTX 3090 Ti PGF OC. This card is designed to be a tiny notch above the AMP Extreme Holo, and features the company's most elaborate-looking cooling solution. The card ships with the a factory-overclock of 1890 MHz boost—same as the AMP Extreme Holo—and its maximum available power limit is the same, at 495 W.

It's also likely that the PGF OC and the international AMP Extreme Holo share an identical PCB design, and the heatsink design appears similar, too. What's new is the cooler-shroud and back-plate design, which looks better thought-out than the AMP Extreme Holo: there's no hollow space toward the tail-end of the card for aesthetic reasons, with the shroud ending roughly where the heatsink does; and the backplate has a huge round vent that can take advantage of the large cutout in the PCB. The AMP Extreme Holo backplate doesn't fully take advantage of this cutout. The RGB lighting is also nicely done, across the front-face of the cooler shroud.

Yikes 495 watt + what power target might allows to go a bit higher. Not so nice in these energy crisis and electric cost.

It's all ready bad enough with my own rtx 3080 that can gulp up 400 watt if allowed and I can tell, it is now allowed to do so.

If the $5 a year in extra electricity is enough to scare you from the 3090ti, you cant afford a $2500 GPU in the first place. just saying.

Also LOL electricity isnt energy. Haven't you heard? When powering something with electricity its magic, just as the EV car guys! It literally doesnt count if you measure in watts instead of gallons.

I dont know where you live, but In Europe where I live. Electricity is more expensive than in the United States of America. We are more directly hit on all energy parts. Electricity, oil, coal and gas because of the war in Ukraine and with the new sanktions this week on coal and maybe oil it is getting even worse. So bad that Europe is in a serious risk of a recession. If Putin closes of gas and oil, Europe will be in a recession soon.

Where I live, my electric bill has raised to be up to 3 times as expensive now compared to the normal level and for some other, the bill is even worse. And experts expect it to be worse the comming month ahead. So no I am not saying it for fun. I have lowered the tdp targets on my CPU's and pulled the power plug to the RGB light to save a few watts.

There are even talk of Europe will have to make rations of examples oil, what can mean example car free Sundays as in the oil crisis in the 70's. Electricity is now so expensive that the poor people in my country can hardly afford just to turn on there TV for long. I am not there luckely, but if I example lose my job do to a recession. Then yes I will not be able to pay a huge electric bill either.

So you can laugh, but the energy crisis is a real problem in Europe and people are suffering from it.
