Woof....

So much techno-psycho-babble (29 paragraphs !), yet so little pricing info anywhere :(

I'm guessin they just want to avoid responsibility for all the heart attacks/strokes that will happen when people are exposed to the massive "ROG Taxes" which will undoubtedly be added onto every one of these items...

i'll take your word for it, it's just seeing "Maxes Out Performance" sounds like the kind of sounds-good-but-non-descript claim that a PR person would come up with because it could be interpreted in so many ways. No offense.

For once I can completely agree with you on something  :toast:

The keyboard looks the most interesting to me. But I'm not even going to entertain the idea of ever buying it because I know I'm too poor to pay the dreaded ROG Tax. If it's priced BELOW $200 USD I will be very surprised.

It's incredibly surprising how keyboards got smaller and have less keys, but increased in price astronomically

Again just a brand, they sold you on, kings of gaming, join the republic, but they're just a company.

with a good marketing team and IMHO good engineers, not perfect, I could indeed scream at them for an hour or two, but oversights aside.

I love my Rog Strix scar2 :D but definitely get no royalness from it, iit can hardly run Portal :kookoo::laugh::roll::D

The chair doesn't look that bad like other gaming chairs, quite the opposite. Nice mesh on the back, the seat seems to be mesh as well and the back seems like it has a nice ergonomic contour instead of the usual straigh slab of racing seat styled chairs.

The price will surely be egregious but at least they tryied to do something good instead of just rebadging the same cheap terrible design.

It's STILL a cheap-assed, horrible crapola design, regardless of their attempts to make it seem otherwise...'cause the second that mesh begins to wear out, you are left with an unusable p.o.s. frame that is essentially worthless, unless you wanna go thru the hassle & additional expense to repair it or have someone do it for you...

anyone else notice that silly dust collector bin under the seat ? I mean seriously, how much moar stupid can you get.... :(

I don't think that's fair. I won't say for certain that it's goor or not, but it looks like they've put the work in to make it good and the mesh problem you describe happens with any chair that uses mesh. Unless you shell out for an Herman Miller you'll be hard pressed for parts with most brands.

The "dust collector bin" looks a bit strange but they're not the first ones to do it, and I reckon it might be easy to remove as by the pictures it seems to only be there to cover part of the adjustment handles.

Exactly my point...mesh is the worst possible choice for fabric on anything that will be subjected to wear & tear of any kind... And yea, HM might be able to supply you with replacement parts, but they will cost you almost as much as their chairs do... Trust me, I know from experience, been there, done that, NEVA, EVA, again !

Well, why do the adjustment levers need to be covered up in the 1st place, when the mfgr's of the other 9,526,187.31 chairs on the market don't seem to think covers are/were needed ......

I don't know about that, you clearly had bad experiences, I for one don't want anything else after experiencing it with my current chair (that I'm in the process of replacing for a different reason entirely and kind of torn on what to replace it with). ~4 years without problems (on the mesh back that is, there's a metal part that broke)
