This Week in Gaming (Week 7)

This week's big AAA game is yet another console port—a PS5 port in this case—that should hopefully have impressive graphics on the PC as well. However, there's a second big release this week that'll be available on all major platforms. We also have some other interesting releases to look forward to and as it's week seven, we decided to throw in seven games in the list this time.

Returnal / This week's AAA title / Wednesday 15 February
Break the cycle as this award-winning third-person shooter brings bullet hell action to PC. Selene's roguelike odyssey arrives with a suite of arresting graphical and performance-based enhancements to ensure an unforgettable journey. This includes the full Returnal experience, complete with Suspend Cycle, Photo and Co-op Modes, as well as the Tower of Sisyphus included from day one.
Perseus: Titan Slayer / Monday 13 February
Defeat the Titans as you battle your way into Tartarus to stop Chaos from conquering Olympus and destroying the world. In this rogue-like dungeon crawler adventure, you will play as Perseus, a demigod tasked with one mission; stop Chaos and the evil forces that surround him.
Wanted: Dead / Tuesday 14 February
Wanted: Dead is a new hybrid slasher/shooter from the makers of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive. The game follows a week in the life of the Zombie Unit, an elite Hong Kong police squad on a mission to uncover a major corporate conspiracy.
Operation: Harsh Doorstop / Wednesday 15 February
Operation: Harsh Doorstop is a shooter sandbox with all the features a game should have. Single player missions, cooperative modes, multiplayer servers, and Steam workshop support. These things should be basic, and all games should have them. However, for some reason... games rarely do anymore. That is the reason we started this project.
Wild Hearts / This weeks AA title / Thursday 16 February
No one remembers why the Kemono began their rampage through a once-prosperous Azuma. Fueled by desperation, they wield the power of primal nature at its most destructive. For a while, it seemed that none could stand against their overwhelming might. But hope arrives in the form of a formidable hunter armed with deadly weapons and ancient technology called Karakuri that could turn the tide of battle.
Wild West Dynasty / Thursday 16 February
Cowboys, Settlers & Gunslingers! Build your own ranch, grow it into a settlement and soon more settlers will join you in your quest for happiness and prosperity. Will you manage to build a 'Wild West Dynasty' or will you end up on the gallows?
Birth / Friday 17 February
Birth is an adventure puzzle game about constructing a creature from spare bones & organs found around the city in order to quell your loneliness. Solve physics-based puzzles & discover secrets in lovingly hand-drawn museums, bakeries, bookstores and more.

Indie games just do cut it for me. Smaller studios means longer bug fix intervals if at all.

Thanks for the write up on them.
