Well, when I first read the names of those products I thought the same thing but I noticed that most Razer products names were taken from either the Japanese mythology or other civilizations mythology, search about Orochimaru or Kabuto, for example in wikipedia and you will know what I mean....

I might grab the Orochimaru when my VX Nano craps itself out, and get the Kabuto for my desktop rig. Lookin' good Razer!

If you want it for the 4000DPI wireless factor with option wire just grab the Mamba. Its the same thing just regular size for desktop gaming.

I've already got my Deathadder, though. If I didn't have my Deathadder yet, I'd definitely be grabbing the Mamba. It's teh secks.

Hmm.. correct me if Im wrong, but this is the first Razer mouse that has a fictitious snake for its name...
by DanishDevil (July 24th - 8:47 AM) - Reply
I think you're right. All of the previous mice's names have been real snakes.

I think they should have stuck with real snakes. I thought it was really sweet that they did that, and I thought that they should have included a picture and some info on the snake, and why they chose that snake for the particular mouse. That would be sweet.

Meh, guess they finally caught on to the - Asian sounding stuff is cool - trend.

And I believe Altec's question was, 'what's the difference between a desktop Razer and a "mobile" Razer mouse?'
