The AMD Z-60 is a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in October 2012. It is part of the Z lineup, using the Hondo architecture with Socket FT1. Z-60 has 1 MB of L2 cache and operates at 1000 MHz. AMD is making the Z-60 on a 40 nm production node, the transistor count is unknown. The multiplier is locked on Z-60, which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 5 W, the Z-60 consumes extremely little energy. AMD's processor supports DDR3 memory with a single-channel interface. This processor features the Radeon HD 6250 integrated graphics solution. Hardware virtualization is available on the Z-60, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
