Yeah, I can say that for the first card I've had, I haven't thought right then and there to go and get a cooler for it. But, they finally got it out at the web site that I've shown. So, why not!? lol
Just gotta do some benches and what not. Some before and afters. I won't be ocing my system itself since It seems my Dimm lines are frying ram.. I'll wait till I get my 780i back in order to oc..

stupid Q...

when i use precision to OC my cards it will let me put the slider over to 800mhz but when i hit apply it moves it back to 760mhz.

??? is that normal?

if i use rivatuner, do i have to manually set all 3 cards or will one setting do all 3?

First off, no question is stupid. Because, you never know who knows what, or so forth..

From what I know on Precision, if the card isn't set to go that high, then it won't let it. So, in a nut shell it's a safety thing from what I have gathered.

I don't know anything about Riva since I've only used Ati tool (3870), Palit's ocing tool (8800gt 1gb) and now the Precision. I'm very noobish on the fact of Riva's tool... But, I expect that with Riva you have to set both individual. Since it see's each card as being different.

I wonder if we'll ever get hr-03 gtx's in canada. I can't find them anywhere. And the gt model would run me $80can after shipping and tax, so the gtx should be the same. Plus I have to buy a fan. Ouch. Wouldn't mind one though, but not sure if it would actually allow me more oc.

I have a few styles of fans. I'll make sure to due a full set-up on differences between it all. Then throw the link here once I do it. I'll most likely get it come next week, and won't be till two weeks from this weekend coming up that I'll have it all written and done. I get every other weekend off now.. Lol.

As for teh cooler it self. It's really not suppose to be out for another month from what reports are saying. Some where able to get it due to high sells of that kind of nature. I was beginning to think it was going to be around $70us before even shipping. Thankfully it wasn't of that high price!

That's the highest you can get it on running Vantage?
Also, why do you have the fan speed at 61?

I'm not hating, that's one kick ass score! I just need to get into the mind set that is "fitseries3".. lol


Also to note guys.. I think I'll be getting the Cooler sooner then I expected... Rm's parents told me to hold off on the buy of that just yet...lol..

Yes, I know it's dusty... Been with work to much to do a good spray down.. And yes, two color tubing.. Story of another... Yes, it's almost touching my Azuenteck Card... From 2 slot card, to a 3 slot card! :roll:

But, here is the kicker... I wanted to cry... lol... I had to take the 8400gs out... To big of a card now... :roll:

It happens... Oh does it happen! :banghead:

Next week I'll get my last fan in that I need for the review of the cooler.. Going with 3 different fan set-ups and also passive.. But, loving it right now at 40c

yeah i noticed in TRI SLI gpu temps change the score a good bit. i wait till the temp drops to ~45c then hit bench. by time the bench is done its at ~58c.

if i run them colder i get a good 500pts more.
