That's a massive exaggeration. While I would get an HD 5850 if in the market for a new card right now, Nvidia or ATI depends on your priorities, hardware, case and cooling solution (among other things). If I have a full tower with great airflow, wasn't concerned about power consumption and wanted a balls-out, best performance in its class single GPU I'd get a GTX 480.

I don't have to really worry all about that despite my Case being 9 years old, Can use either card, only drawback would be is the CPU cooling wouldn't be able to use Taller cooling. All in all the NV 480 is practically what the HD2900 was to ATI, both powerhungry and hot running. Also if cards are so great why dont people own them?

Lets just say that he manage 2Ghz core on his 5830 with no cooling. :p

why limit to single GPU? a 5970 is far faster, same power, same heat.

If you're going to suggest that its superior in certain categories, try and make sure that ATI dont have something superior as well... just because its dual GPU, doesnt mean it doesnt kick the 480's ass.

Yeah Hes probably enjoying his 2 Ghz core 5830 now so he doesn't have time to post anymore. maybe next week he will post again and tell us that he got past 5870. :roll:
