I use GMT time zone as well and it's 5:20 to go. :confused:

The Spanish site also shows the same time and they're supposed to be GMT +1.
That is if they base the time in Madrid time standards.

The darn thing is going to be unveiled at 4 in the morning here! :mad:

Also looking forward for W1zzard's review on the 460! :toast:

No.... It wont. I am genuinely happy that NV finally get it right but two of these scaling very well will not blow everything away. Two of any card that performs better (from 5850 or GTX 285) will outperform it.

It is a very good card though and had it been out when i was buying my 5850's, this would have seriously put me in a quandary. But it wasn't, so NV still need to work hard to ensure they are in the game when the next round happens!!

EDIT: you probably mean a GTX 495 based on two 275's right? Dont count that chicken until it has hatched dude. Besides, it seems NV now have a direct 5850 (almost) competitor, so maybe the 475 would be a 5870 match? Still leaves 480 as the monolithic single gpu champ. Albeit the steroid using noisy uncle that nobody likes to talk about.

EDIT: LOL - WELL DONE NVIDIA - never thought i'd see the day - in th UK these cards start at £150 (aria.co.uk). OKay, at this price point I do declare this to be the best gfx card on the market (Price/Performance wise). Maybe ATI drop prices now

no I wasn't, because nvidia annouced that 12th was release date of Gtx460,
but it performs really nice, but no gtx460 for me

the gtx475 must be next because I'm waiting for that, that card will be awesome, gx275 was and is awesome

Sorry to disagree, but I've seen and heard more speculation/rumor/noise on the possible releases of the GTX 475 and the 485 than the 450. In fact, I haven't heard anything about the 450...yet.

Also, the GTS 250 is doing a fine job for lower mid-range users, handicapped now for not having DX11 support, but still with good performance.

Considering how well 2x GTX 460s compare against the HD 5970, if they made a dual GPU card using 2x GTX 480/485, it will definitely be a HD 5970 killer.

Yes, but at what price?

With the 480 costing as much as 500€, a 480x2 would probably go for premium 1k or 1.2k price range and for that we could get a TOXIC 5970 4GB.
Not many people would buy that anyways...

I fail to see the point of a 480x2, except for bragging rights...or some kick ass CAD modeling projects.
