ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650
The Mobility Radeon HD 5650 was a graphics card by ATI, launched in January 2010. Built on the 40 nm process, and based on the Madison graphics processor, in its Madison LP variant, the card supports DirectX 11.0. The Madison graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 104 mm² and 627 million transistors. It features 400 shading units, 20 texture mapping units and 8 ROPs. ATI has placed 1,024 MB GDDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 450 MHz, memory is running at 800 MHz.
We recommend the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 for gaming with highest details at resolutions up to, and including, 800x600.
Its power draw is rated at 15 W maximum. Mobility Radeon HD 5650 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 2.0 x16 interface.
