AMD Radeon R9 M275
The Radeon R9 M275 is a graphics card by AMD, launched in January 2014. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Venus graphics processor, in its Venus XTX variant, the card supports DirectX 12.0. The Venus graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 123 mm² and 1,500 million transistors. It features 640 shading units, 40 texture mapping units and 16 ROPs. AMD has placed 2,048 MB GDDR5 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 900 MHz, which can be boosted up to 925 MHz, memory is running at 1000 MHz.
We recommend the AMD Radeon R9 M275 for gaming with highest details at resolutions up to, and including, 1280x720.
Its power draw is not exactly known. Radeon R9 M275 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 3.0 x16 interface.
