Memory and storage specialist Kingmax released the KE-91 640 GB portable hard drive, expanding the series that it released back in May. Coming in black, silver, and red colours, the drive measures 114 (L) x 75 (W) x 12 (H) mm, weighing 170 g. The KE-91 uses USB 2.0 for both connectivity and power. It secures data using 256-bit AES encryption, with the related encryption software bundled along with a data backup software. Backed by a 3-year warranty, the KE-91 640 GB will be available later this month.

Kingmax Unveils Hercules PC3-17600 DDR3 Memory

Memory manufacturer Kingmax announced the Hercules line of high-end DDR3 PC3-17600 memory modules for overclockers. Available in dual-channel kits for now, the Hercules can operate at 2200 MHz, with CAS latency of 10T, with DRAM voltage in the range of 1.5~1.7V. Kingmax Displays 2GB DDR3-2000 Memory at CES

It seems that the new barrier standard for high-performance DDR3 memory is at least 2000MHz. First Team Group, now Kingmax is showing off a 2GB memory module that is rated at 2000MHz. The DDR3 memory is claimed to work at 2.15V with CL9-9-9-24 timings and as you can see in the picture below, it is equipped with a heatsink very similar to that found on Corsair's Dominator modules. Apparently Kingmax is already taking orders for the new 2GHz memory so you should be seeing it and its price tag later this month.

Kingmax released yesterday the latest version of its SuperRAM DDR400. Kingmax's SuperRAM series adheres to standards by using TSOP packaging technology and high-quality IC chips to achieve the high-quality performance required of Kingmax products. The new SuperRAM DDR400 uses deep blue PCB instead of the previous red. In addition, Kingmax has built in into the front side of the SuperRAM DDR400 PCB decoder ASIC IC chip, which uses Kingmax's proprietary TinyBGA packaging technology.
