Iiyama introduced four new 17-inch monitors with the 5:4 aspect ratio, featuring native resolutions of 1280 x 1024. The company is going after the kiosk markets with these displays. Among the models launched are the ProLite T1731SR-2 (and its white variant), the ProLite T1731SAW-2, and the ProLite T1732MSC-B1X (pictured in that order). The ProLite T1731SR-2 offers single-point resistive touch, the ProLite T1731SAW-2 also offers single-touch, but using the ultrasonic method, so your fingers needn't physically push against the panel (good hygiene), and the ProLite T1732MSC-B1X offers 10-point capacitive multi-touch.
