Acer Readies the Aspire Z3-600 21.5-inch All-in-One PC

Acer's Aspire lineup will soon be updated through the release of the Aspire Z3-600, a 21.5-inch all-in-one PC running Microsoft's Windows 8. The upcoming system packs a 1080p panel with 10-point multi-touch capabilities, an Intel Pentium J2580 (quad-core) processor, 4 GB of RAM, a 750 GB hard drive, Harman Kardon speakers, a webcam, a pair of USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI output, a stand that tilts up to 90 degrees back, and even a battery that will deliver up to 2.5 hours of operation.

The Aspire Z3-600 is coming out this month priced at $779.

ASUS Teases New, Haswell-Powered 23-Inch All-in-One PC

ASUS has today put up a video that showcases one upcoming All-in-One PC, a model dubbed ET2321 which features a 23-inch (1920 x 1080) multi-touch IPS screen, and is equipped with a 4th generation Intel Core processor.

The slim ET2321 also packs a GeForce GT 740M graphics card, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB connectivity, it has built-in speakers (enhanced with SonicMaster Premium audio technology), it's bundled with a desktop subwoofer, and runs Microsoft's Windows 8 (likely 8.1 at launch). No word yet on pricing or availability.

Iiyama Rolls Out the ProLite T2336MSC AH-IPS Touchscreen

Japanese display maker Iiyama rolled out the ProLite T2336MSC, a 23-inch touchscreen monitor featuring an AH-IPS LCD touchscreen with LED backlighting, and 10-point multi-touch. The screen is suspended by an armature that can let you tilt it to an ergonomic drawing/writing position. It features a ruggedized 7H glass panel to put up with heavy touchscreen usage. As a display, the ProLite T2336MSC features full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, 5 ms (GTG) response time, 225 cd/m² maximum brightness, and 5,000,000:1 ACR. Display inputs include DVI, HDMI, and D-Sub. Other features include an Eco Mode, which reduces power consumption by up to 38 percent, and 2W stereo speakers that take input from 3.5 mm jacks and HDMI. The T2336MSC will launch around mid-October.

Cambridge Silicon Radio (CSR) Unveils the World's Thinnest Keyboard

Engineers at British company Cambridge Silicon Radio unveiled the world's slimmest keyboard. With a thickness of just 0.49 mm, the keyboard offers not just a compact 79-key QWERTY keyboard and a multi-touch track-pad, but can also turn itself completely into a touch surface (such as a graphics tablet). The keyboard isn't 0.49 mm throughout, but features a thick portion with its battery, electronics, and a Bluetooth low-energy transceiver, which supports Bluetooth Smart, and which lets you pair it with any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, or PC. CSR deployed its newest CSR1010 SoC to run the keyboard, which offers latencies as low as 12 ms. Although unveiled to crowds at IFA Berlin 2013, the company didn't announce retail plans.

Japanese display maker Iiyama rolled out the Pro Lite T2735MSC 27-inch touchscreen monitor. It combines an AMVA (multi-domain vertical alignment) panel made by AU Optronics, with a 10-point multi-touch layer. As a display, the T2735MSC features full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, 2 ms response time, 178°/178° viewing angles, 260 cd/m² maximum brightness, 3000:1 static contrast ratio with dynamic mega-contrast, and display inputs that include DVI, D-Sub, MHL (mobile high-definition link), and HDMI. Its touchscreen component plugs in over USB 2.0. Its stand is designed to be ergonomic, and fit for frequent sliding down to use as touchscreen. Measuring 739 x 127 x 510 mm (WxDxH), it weighs 10.5 kg. Available in Japan soon, the Pro Lite T2735MSC is expected to be priced at 89,800 JPY (US $920).

MSI AG2712A Gaming All-in-One Desktop Launched

MSI, world-renowned manufacturer of gaming hardware is officially introducing a new 27-inch, All-in-One Gaming PC: AG2712A. Acer America is now offering its three LED monitors offering ultra-high resolution and large 27- and 29-inch screens for consumers and commercial users in the United States.

Boasting high pixel density, these new monitors display brilliant images, ideal for presentations, digital photography, gaming, video and social media. In addition, the large screens make them well-suited for productivity tasks, such as working with large spreadsheets and viewing two images at once, whether it's tracking email while creating a presentation, comparing two Word documents or viewing the entire page of a website with little to no scrolling. SHARP to Introduce PN-K322B Touchscreen 4K Ultra HD LED Monitor

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, will introduce a new 32-inch-class (31.5" diagonal) LCD LED monitor, the PN-K322B.
