The AXP 2.5/3.5 Zoll SATA HDD Dock to eSATA/USB 2.0 is one of the many HDD docking stations available on the market today. A lot of different manufactures are offering this type of hardware to go with your SATA hard drive. The first generation parts only offered USB 2.0 connectivity along with compatiblity to 3.5" drives. AXP has gone straight for the second generation part, with eSATA capability and the ablity to mount a 2.5" or 3.5" drive. The unit is well built and shows some great performance, but the overall construction is nothing out of the ordinary. there is no label on the unit itself, no different design to differentiate it from other brands. This makes for a bland looking device with a great heart and excellent performance. So if you do not care about looks, feel free to go with the AXP HDD Dock.
