Introduction

Razer Logo

Founded in 1998, Razer is a US-based peripherals and gaming equipment company. The Naga V2 Pro is the continuation of a concept first introduced by the Naga Trinity. Being a MOBA/MMO mouse first and foremost, the Naga V2 Pro comes with a 12-button side panel, but this can be swapped with a six-button side panel with a different layout and button shape or a simple two-button side panel, all of which attach magnetically and can be changed at any time. Furthermore, the scroll wheel is fully customizable: the scroll tension, number of steps, and even haptic feedback of individual steps can be gradually adjusted in detail and swapped between at the press of a button. The scroll wheel can also be horizontally tilted, giving access to two additional button functions. In total, and using the 12-button side panel, the Naga V2 Pro comes with 21 button functions, which can be nearly doubled by employing the shift function. RGB lighting likewise is on board and extends even to the 12-button side panel, but not the others. Without RGB lighting, battery life is said to be up to 150 hours in 2.4 GHz operation and up to 300 hours using Bluetooth. Charging is possible either through the included USB Type-C cable, Razer Mouse Dock Pro, or Qi charging, the latter two of which are sold separately. Of course, the Naga V2 Pro also comes with Razer's latest Gen-3 Optical mouse switches, which are immune to eventual double-clicking while ensuring the lowest possible latency, and Razer's latest Focus Pro 30K sensor. As always, customization is possible through Razer Synapse, for no less than five on-board profiles which may be changed at any time.
