Thermalright Macho Rev.B Review

Packaging and Contents

Thermalright's Macho Rev.B comes in a relative small box that measures 20.6 cm in length, 16.5 cm in width, and 20.3 cm in height. On the front are a massive image of the Macho Rev.B, Thermalright's website address, and a few badges for the awards they won over the last few years. Moving on to the left side, you will find the cooler's specifications, which are a bit sparse. Still, the important stuff has been included, such as fan speed and noise levels and socket support and dimensions. The back is a repeat of the front on a green backdrop that really stands out.

Users will find a few of the cooler's features on the right side, along with another list of badges for even more of Thermalright's various awards. The bright lime green background makes another appearance on this side as well, and the top of the box is just a black with "Macho Rev.B" prominently displayed.

Contents

While the box may be a bit small, Thermalright did go above and beyond most manufacturers by putting soft foam on all four sides of the cooler—it certainly is nice to see the Macho Rev.B so well protected.

Everything a person would need to mount the Thermalright Macho Rev.B to pretty much any modern socket is included. The universal design does away with excess parts, which keeps the install easy for first-time builders.
