PowerColor's heatsink uses a copper base to quickly soak up heat and then transfer it to a large metal heatsink with a large number of fins.

Graphics Card Power Plugs

AMD's latest cards have been designed with power efficiency in mind, but the PowerColor PCS+ HD 5770 still requires a single 6-pin PCI-E power connector - just like the reference design.

Graphics Card Memory Chips

The GDDR5 memory chips are made by Samsung, and carry the model number K4G10325FE-HC04. They are specified to run at 1250 MHz (5000 MHz GDDR5 effective).


The GPU voltage is managed by a uP62045J voltage controller, which seems to support I2C software voltage control, yet there is no software yet that can use it.

Graphics Chip GPU

This is AMD's new Juniper GPU, it comes with 1040 million transistors, and is produced on a 40 nm process at TSMC Taiwan.
