The only new GPU chip from ATI this year will be the RV351. This AGP-only (8x) chip is produced using a 0.11u process at TSMC.
It comes in three configurations:

• RV351 Pro (400 Mhz core, 300 Mhz mem), 64 or 128 bit memory interface
• RV351 LE (325 Mhz core, 200 Mhz mem), 64 or 128 bit memory interface
• RV351 SE (325 Mhz core, 200 Mhz mem), 64 bit memory interface

Feature-wise the chip has 4 pipelines and full DX9 support, just like RV350/RV360.
Also the RV351 will have an on-die thermal diode, but it's up to the board manufacturers if they add thermal monitoring circuitry to the board.

To sum it up, the RV351 series has the exact same features as the RV350/RV360 series, just on a smaller (=cheaper) manufacturing process. Cards are expected to be less than $100.

Performance will be the same compared to the 9600, overclocks should be significantly better because of the improved process which results in less heat output.

Technically RV351 a 9600 chip, however, the marketing name has not been determined yet.
