NVIDIA and Alienware Showcase World's First SLI Notebook

NVIDIA Corporation, the worldwide leader in programmable graphics processor technologies, today announced it will demonstrate Alienware notebooks based on NVIDIA SLI technology-the world's first available notebooks to feature dual GeForce Go 7900 series graphics processing units (GPUs), at E3 in Los Angeles. Delivering new levels of visual realism at extreme high-definition (XHD) resolutions of 1680x1050 and higher, NVIDIA SLI technology enables dual NVIDIA GPUs to be used in notebooks based on the NVIDIA nForce4 SLI core-logic solution. The Alienware Aurora mALX notebook with a 19" display will be powered by two top-of-the-line NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX GPUs. The 17" Alienware Aurora m9700 will be powered by dual high-performance GeForce Go 7900 GS GPUs. Alienware notebooks featuring NVIDIA SLI technology will be on display in the NVIDIA booth, #300 in the South Hall, at the Los Angeles Convention Center from May 10 to May 12.
