Nice mid-tower case. I'm hoping this value level case will have the usual Silverstone quality. If so, it's a steal at this price. :rockout:

I'd like to see a review comparing it head to head vs the CM 690 II Basic, Lancool PC-k58.

Its funny how no review sites do head to head roundups anymore. I guess times are tough, they don't want to anger any potential future advertisers.

There are plenty of roundups around, just not of enclosures because they are so subjective.

Anyone else wants to puke, when they see Silverstone case?

In this case its not that horrible, but still it makes me really uneasy.

Exceptions are exactly two.. Raven and TJ07. Everything else makes me sick..

I suspect it has something to do with designer..


And to subject. Just another ugly case from SS.. wouldnt get that even for free (and btw. I have Silverstone Raven).

As I said, Raven and TJ07 (probably most modified SS case) are exception from them.. and I have Raven, so ofc I like it. :D

But if you compare in real-life SilverStone vs Lian-Li .. its like epic fail for SilverStone. :D (I say real-life cause photos really cant show how beautiful Lian-Li cases are..)

A slightly better looking Antec 902 but, yea, it's pretty much similar.

I may be off on these but the case looks taller than deeper from the pics. If this pans out to be true then fitting anything beyond a 5770 would be a pipe dream since a 5870 would run right into the drive cage with no room for the PCI-E cables.

I also can't really tell how the airflow is between the drive cage which could mean getting fresh air to the video card may be a problem unless you pull it from under the case. Still not sure what they were thinking either with the right side vent holes since there does not seem to be any provision for any fan mounts on that side.

Some interesting ideas but a rather poor delivery from a company like Silverstone IMHO. :shadedshu

it looks like they got a panel together that took a bunch of design elements fromt the most successful budget cases and molded them all together randomly...

well... this one has a scoop (ad a scoop on the top), and this one has a mesh front for airflow (add mesh), and this one has a unique sidebezel (add unique side bezel), ooh and dual topvents, dont forget those.

it really does look like a Coolermaster centurion shagged a NXZT tempest and an InWin bomber while Raidmax was watching eerily in the corner.

Come on Silverstone!! You are known for high quality products and reliability. Not stealing other companies already well known case designs. :slap:

I really like the case and it is better laid out than the Original Antec 900.

I do like the fact that more cases are available for mounting the PSU at the bottom and all black interiors. As far as it looking like another case, well, there is only so many ways to make a case, most of them kinds look a like...
