Tuniq Releases Tower 120 Extreme Silver CPU Cooler

The Taiwan based PC thermal solution expert, Tuniq, has announced a new addition to their Tower 120 Extreme series of ultra performance CPU coolers, the Tower 120 Extreme Silver.

The high performance CPU cooler Tower 120 Extreme is esteemed as one of the best performing CPU coolers on the market with numerous awards and outstanding reviews all backing Tuniq's claims. The newly release "Silver" version retains all the cooling characteristics but now comes in a cool matted-silver color.

The Tower 120 Extreme Silver is packed with the same great accessories that came with the original version. Included are the TX-3 thermal compound (one of the best in the industry) and the Fan Controller, which allows better fan speed adjustment.

Aw, when I saw silver I was thinking it was made of silver!

Make for one expensive cooler, but good one.

Ditto. I too also got excited there for a sec. But hey, if it works, it works. And from all the good things I have heard about this cooler, I see no real reason to change it.

Silver is the best electric conductor, but copper is the best thermal conductor.
But Silver is 25% heavier than copper, and way more expensive.

didn't realise the 25% heavier cause that would then cause a few mobos to fail. by being snapped in half, even with backplates

I love how they stack all those fins on the Tuniq Towers. I thought about getting me the Black one or Extreme, but settled for the Mugen 2. Just have to get unlazy and take out the water and go with the Mugen 2.

That is sexy, I'm like one step away from another impulse buy..lol
My macs has been pissing me off anyway.
the pci controller died that would adjust the fan speeds, so I had to yank out the controller and physically remove the wiring from it that lead to the cooling tower.
I have it hand wired now and hooked up to two fans running at faster speeds.
It's cooler than it was before..lol
