I got my legit copy of XP for $53 on sale :).

Unfortunately, I had to pay 160 Canadian for my legit copy from retail :ohwell: But hey, I'm always re-installing the OS and having to call Microsoft to reactivate my keys.

Mine was only £60 in the UK, I almost lost it with M$ a couple of weeks back when I reinstalled and the activation came up with a message along the lines of "you have used your maximum number of activations..." The next day it activated fine!!??!!

Hmmmm...I clicked on the link and it let me install without doing anything else..I dont have updates on and i have Advanced Uninstaller PRO that stops all kinds of useless service's.
I have xp pro didnt have to do Windows Genuine Advantage-Check???Maybe i have allready??

But i downloaded even though i have it on vista..I just wish there was ati drivers that support my card on the vista i have i might use it then!Anywho thanks for the link.

Well I'm gonna laugh at you all now coz I have 3 pcs all with legal windows xp pro on them all were free :roll:

All computer people at my Uni have access to the MSDNAA (Microsoft Developers Network Academic Allience) and I get loads of software off there for myself, all 100% legal, and all 100% free :D
