Buffalo Intros Stylish New USB 2.0 Flash Drives with Retractable Connectors
Buffalo Japan released a pack of stylish new flash drives to its lineup with the RUF2-JMS. Measuring 21 x 9 x 55 mm, and weighing just under 10 g, these drives use slider-retractable USB connectors. The [still] standard USB 2.0 interface is used with transfer speeds of up to 33 MB/s, when used with the bundled Turbo PC software. The drives are available in four color options: "night black", "moon silver", "earth brown" and "ocean blue". In terms of capacities, the drives are available in 4 GB and 8 GB variants. These are expected to reach the Japanese market later this month.
