Good product, if the card keeps cool. If there isn't, there should be an optional 120mm fan to add to it.

I dont understand why everyone is obsessed with fanless cards. You HAVE to have some airflow across the heatsink, so if the fan isnt on the card then you will need to have more case fans which IMO tend to be louder...

Well the thing I don't get is when you have fans that have speeds lower then 20.0 DBa why bother going fanless. I mean common the fans are getting so quiet now. I mean for the XCLIO 3060 case I just bought it has one big 250mm fan on the side, which moves tons of air without making much noise at all.

Wow, that could be good, but with CPU fans and case fans... not worth it.

Going fanless isn't that great. Wasting all that space when a fan solution could cool it better. It would also be just as quiet that unless you have an open case, and have your ear next to it, you wouldn't be able to hear it.

Yeah i don't see the big hipe ether, its not like you need a 7900GT in a server, a 50 dallor card is good enough for diplaying a desktop on a 15" monitor, in most standered server places.

well some people like having passive cooled components, and using 2-3 120mm low rpm fans in their case, it makes for good temps and really low noise. Not all of us want to use 12x 80mm vantec tornados in our cases :p

On the subject of 7900GT's but slightly off topic (ever so slightly :) ) anyone heard of anyone flashing a 7900GTX BIOS for the 7900GT, identical specs apart from memory quantity (so I have read)????

I have heard of some pretty damn good overclocks on the 7900GT on stock cooling but not quite that of the GTX speeds, some good cooling might help but especially if they would flash although I know many cards wont if the memory quantities are different although I have had some success in the past flashing with a higher memory BIOS, just asking because I am just ordering the 7900GT, have got a good deal in the UK so just had to have it for my birthday next week!
