ASUS Launches the M2R32-MVP CrossFire AM2 Motherboard
ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (ASUS), has officially announced yesterday a new AI Lifestyle Series motherboard - the M2R32-MVP. This is a Socket AM2 board with support for DDR2 800 memory based on ATI CrossFire Xpress 3200 and ATI SB600 chipsets. It comes equipped with two PCI Express x16 slots for ATI's CrossFire graphics interface and lots of innovative features like: Noise Filter, OC Profile plus the Stack Cool 2 fan-less and zero-noise cooling solution.

May be is just me the new design look kind of ugly to me. Prefer the older one better. And it has mofats heatsink or what ever the are called

As for PCI 1X stuff, there are TV Tuner/capture cards out for 1X, and Lan cards, although lan cards are useless. There will be sound cards out for it soon too. But I agree, until that stuff is more widely available, 2 useable PCI slots are nice to have.
