All new? I thought the 675M was a rebadged Fermi GPU.

It is. GTX580m rebadged.

The entire 6xx mobile series is a cluster **** of rebrands, die shrunk fermis and *some* Kepler models.

The AMD 7xxx range won't be any better of course with some Cayman, Cypress and GCN models all branded as the same generation.
