LEPA introduces 5 new series fans, incorporating new fancy LEDs to heavy-duty design that runs smoothly at 70°C ambiance.

LEPA CASINO 4C: Casino 4C offers 4 COLOR LED (Blue, red, green and white) with 6 switchable light effects control, including new fancy "SPARKLE" mode. LEPA CASINO 4C is definitely one of the most colorful and fancy fans you've ever seen. I've not seen ones that are completely lit up like the chopper ones before now.

I prefer the enermax. These look like they'd leak air on a rad.

For the record they do provide some of the best noise/cfm ratios you can find, and are bright enough to light up a whole case with a ton of color options. Pretty nice fans. Replaced my AP29 with the pwm one.

I will never understand the draw to LED's and windowed cases. I want my gear to PERFORM, I don't spend my time looking at it, I don't invite my friends over too look at it... :rolleyes:

I didn't think that much about this when i first read it, but is 70°C really a point of anything? When you're blowing air that's already 70°C hot into a cooler, you have a mighty fine problem right there.
I know for sure that my Phenom II 955 was playing up when the die was over 55°C. Most chips shut down somewhere around 100°C, so that'd leave a 30°C temperature increase for the IHS, TIM and cooler. While many enthusiast-level coolers manage this, most regular ones, like intel stock coolers (+45-70°C), don't, but when you're pushing around air at 70°C, that's probably what you own.

All it says is that it has an X life span at 70 degrees ambient. Not that it runs at 70 degrees

100000h MTBF basically means that after 11.5 years of non-stop-operation you'll have a 50% chance that your fan has failed at some point.

I might be getting this all wrong, it could be that these fan are just supposed to last longer than 60°C-types; just like 105°C caps are frequently used since they provide a longer lifespan at normal temperatures, compared to 85°C-types under the same circumstances. 100000h sounds like plenty for everyone, though....

Add a bit of dust and 100000hr MTBF will become about 10000hrs

If you study fluid dynamics you will know that in the end optimisation commoditises fans to a few designs.

Protip: Those blades that focus the air are a generic design.

You'll find them on high powered server fans all the time.

Who really cares? Why bring it up in the first place if then?

And the them not being a server fan isn't relevant at all, the design can still be used on any fan.

Fans are fans, server fans are just heavy duty and higher quality fans.
