Biostar Launches Cost-effective Intel Core 2 Duo Motherboard
Biostar Microtech International announced a new cost-effective motherboard for socket LGA 775 enthusiasts, the P4M890-M7 PCI-E, designed for the Intel Core 2 Duo CPU supporting a 1066MHz FSB and one PCI Express x16 port. The Biostar P4M890-M7 PCI-E is based on the VIA P4M890 Chipset + VIA8237R+ South Bridge and utilizes the VIA UniChrome Pro integrated graphics processor (IGP) for multimedia, entertainment, and productivity applications. The VIA UniChrome Pro IGP graphics core also features the Chromotion CE video display engine. The board has support for RAID 0 / 1 arrays, integrated 10/100 LAN and Realtek ALC658 6 Channel audio.
