AOpen Releases Core 2 Duo Based XC Cube System


The famous small form factor(SFF) system developer and manufacturer, AOpen Inc, is now adding XC Cube EZ945 as a new member to XC Cube series. XC Cube EZ945 supports the latest Intel Core 2 Duo(Conroe) CPU within its compact size. It is also fully compatible with Microsoft's Windows Vista 64bit operation system. XC Cube EZ945 adapts all socket LGA775 Intel processors, from the Core 2 Duo(Conroe)/Core 2 Extreme to Pentium D/Pentium 4/Celeron D CPUs, allowing users to select CPU according to budget and performance requirement. Besides, the Intel i945G chipset of XC Cube EZ945 provides 1066MHz FSB and DDR II 533/667MHz RAM up to 4GB. The XC Cube is equipped with 275 Watt power supply unit which is enough for all mid/high end graphic cards and other add-on cards. It also has built-in Gigabit LAN connection, 4xSATA2 connectors, 8xUSB 2.0 ports, 3xIEEE1394 ports, one PCI-E x16, one PCI slot and 7.1ch surround sound output.
