Kingston HyperX Teams Top League of Legends NA Finals 2013

Kingston Technology Europe Co LLP, an affiliate of Kingston Technology Company Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, today announced HyperX Sponsored Teams Cloud 9 HyperX placed 1st and Team Solomid placed 2nd at the League of Legends North American regional finals last weekend at PAX Prime 2013. Both teams are now qualified to compete for the Season 3 Summoner's Cup and over $2 million (£1,26 million) in winnings starting at the Group Stages in Los Angeles, California on Sept 15th 2013 and ultimately ending with the finals at the Staples Center on Oct 4th 2013.

The World Championship is a tournament that takes place at the end of the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) season. Teams from around the world compete for a chance to win the Season 3 Summoner's Cup which is the championship trophy awarded to the winning team of the tournament. The teams are also competing for $2 million(£1,26 million) in winnings. The regions that compete are North America, Europe, Korea, China, Southeast Asia and Russia/CIS (International Wildcard). This year marks the third season of the finals. The Group Stages will be held on September 15th-17th and 19th-21st and the Quarterfinals on September 23rd-24th at a Studio in Los Angeles, California. The Semifinals will be held at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California on September 27th-28th and the Finals will be played on October 4th 2013 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. All games will be played in front of a live audience and streamed live online.
