PNY Technologies, world renowned manufacturing giant for USB and Memory products, has announced the release of the new and compact HP v150w. This small, pocketable drive is your to go storage device.

The drive comes in a sturdy plastic housing with a striking color pattern of black and blue. It's resilient to dust and scratches and is completely waterproof. This stylish drive not only looks good on the outside but performs high-speed transfer of files in mere seconds. USB 2.0 specification makes it compatible with other USB 2.0 configured desktops and notebooks available in the market.
The v150w has a unique cap less design where you can easily slide the drive to the end and expose the USB port underneath it. Seriously guys, it's time to stop worrying about supporting that OS. This flash drive probably works on Windows 98SE if you have a controller, but who the heck cares?

Aye. If not for the mention of Windows 7 and 8, I'd believed the back-end bugged and reposed an ancient article.

Awesome, I hope they also release a USB 3.0 version of the 3.5" Floppy, because the USB 2.0 is just too slow.
Who knows, maybe next year they will release the all new 5.25"!

They really should make dual Micro USB + USB a standard on these things now. Too many people have smartphones with the Micro USB port and there are not enough Flash Drive options for this.
I bought a few cheap-o versions from ebay, $12au for 32Gb and they are fantastic and i have always said to myself that when i find a USB 3.0 one with decent write speed, ill buy a few of them straight away.
. . . . Just a suggestion to PNY

Centrecom are currently selling a Strontium 32Gb Micro-B USB/Type-A USB Flash Drive for $18au. I already owned a few of these from way back but 2 weeks ago they were on sale for $9au, so I picked up 5 more of them for myself.
They also have the 16Gb version currently for $6au.

It is reported that the read speed is 15MB/s and the write is 5MB/s, but in reality it is closer to 22MB/s read and 12MB/s write.
