Thermaltake Intros the Core P7 Tempered Glass Chassis

Thermaltake today introduced the Core P7 TG (tempered glass), a premium quasi-open-air chassis for premium, liquid-cooled builds. This tower-type chassis features a motherboard tray with dual orientation. You can orient your motherboard such that it is perpendicular to the plane of the base with its I/O area pointing upwards; or along the plane of the base (pedestal), with its I/O pointing towards the rear. The main frame holding the motherboard tray has two ends that turn 180° along hinges, so it can create "enclosures" around two sides of the tray.

The case features a multitude of radiator mounts, including 140 mm x 420 mm mounts along the two folding sides of the tray, and mounts for reservoirs and pumps in the reverse side of the motherboard tray. You also get multiple 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch drive mounts, depending on how you orient the motherboard tray. The case features 5 mm-thick tempered glass panels. Available now, the Core P7 TG is priced at US $299.

Fantastic for looking at. Horrible room efficieny. It looks like a open cut swine in a slaughterhouse.

My Paean case is -IMHO- the better combination of glitter and productivity... This P7 is screaming "afterthought" "afterthought"... Why would you mount SDD drives where the pump and rad was originally placed... Very Battle of Mosulish...

Wow, I dig this case and its price. Its $300, but for how big it is, the tempered glass, and the design its a pretty decent deal at least compared to others on the market.

I really like it.

Overall I like it too, but not sure about the winged variation in the last pic to the right....reminds me of those flip open jewelry case that the counterfitting crooks use on the waterfront to scam people into thinking they are buying real gold stuff......

Also the combo of colors shown here are kinda garrish, but that could easily be fixed with other fans/cooling liquid...

And WTF is this.... do we ACTUALLY have a new case design with not 1 but 2 USB-C connectors on the front panel ?????? Or are my eyes deceiving me.....

'bout friggin time !!!!!!!!!

I was just looking at this P7 and I see it's been around for a few years, to say the least. Still priced at 300$ though.
Does anyone know of similar style 'cases' to this? I'm sure nothing else like this from T.T.,
Maybe it would be better to go with the P3 or P5 for much cheaper? (139$ I believe).

Looking around though, this is the most 'out there' design I have seen, it would be nice for an over the top setup
with double reservoirs like in the advertisement. I dig the artistical aspects of the build alot.
Maybe the price will drop.
Or I'll find something evem more 'out there'. :toast:

And this is definitely a wall mount situation if you go with the added wings, or whatever they are called.

Still out of stock!!!

Anybody have one for sale?? :D Going nuts waiting on this but luckily I got
my mx1 plus water block and the P32 D-5 reservoir/pump, they were a pain in the ass to track down.

I don't think there is a case around that is as aggressive a project as the P7, three 480 mm Radiators and 3 pumps....going to be a wild, expensive ride!
