The biggest thing to note in RS-A00-EMBA is the inclusion of two types of PCI-e connectors 4x 6pin connectors or 2x 8pin varient specially for NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX Series video cards. Cooler Master is still putting the finishing touches to their brand new power supply. There's no official release date, but if you want to see some more pictures, please click here.

My last 550 version was very good, this has not got modular cables yet that would of been a big plus. Most good psu´s use mod cables already makes life so much easier , 6x12v 18 amps, 20amps would of been better

lol thats crap, 6 is bad 1 is the best, dual or more rails is overated, nothing beats 1 rail

plus modular power suplies is a bad thing, u only get tidyness but wired ones are much better, e.g underload they stay closer to 12.00v, y do u think pc power and cooling have no modular power supplies, i read an artical on it saynig how modular and dual rails or more is a no no

There are pros and cons to everything, have modular is not that big of a con. Someone posted on here how little you actually do lose and the loss is very nominal or minimal to say the least. As far as more 12V rails, sure one is probably top notch but having 5 or 6 with 18 to 20a on each isnt bad, especially when they share the power. Quit being a knocker man :)

I prefer a good 2 rail setup, personally.

one 12v rail for a 1000W psu would be bonkers. And with multiple cpus and gfx cards (FX-74 etc) split rails are useful.
