[Editor's note: you can find our in-depth review of the Tower 500 here]

Thermaltake, the leading PC DIY premium brand for Cooling, Gaming Gear, and Enthusiast Memory solutions, unveiled The Tower 500 Mid-Tower Chassis, the first mid-tower form factor model in The Tower series. The Tower 500 is a vertically designed case with three 4 mm tempered glass panels for panoramic viewing, which comes in two editions, black and snow. Not only does The Tower 500 have a modern appearance, but it also supports incredible hardware expansion and an advanced cooling configuration for comprehensive flexibility.

The Tower 500 has great hardware expandability which is capable of fitting up to an E-ATX motherboard (12"x12"), and up to eight 3.5" HDDs or four 3.5" HDDs plus eight 2.5" SSDs. Built for excellent cooling performance, The Tower 500 comes with two preinstalled 120 mm standard rear fans to prevent overheating of the CPU and GPU. What's more, thanks to its spacious interior, there is a wide range of selection for versatile cooling solutions. In total, up to eleven 120 mm fans can be fitted in the case to aid in airflow.
For All-In-One cooling, users can choose to install a 360 mm All-In-One cooler at the right side by using the radiator bracket, and by flipping the right side panel 180 degrees to allow direct heat extraction from the mesh to achieve an optimal cooling result. For DIY cooling, a custom LCS radiator up to 399 mm will also fit with the right side radiator bracket; what's more, there is a fan bracket attached to the bottom of the chassis, which not only can be installed vertically or horizontally, but can also install two 120 mm fans or an extra radiator to make the LCS set up even more eye catching.

To take your PC's visual effects to the next level, users can also choose to attach an optional LCD upgrade kit at the front bottom side of The Tower 500. With Thermaltake's TT RGB Plus software, the 3.9" LCD screen provides users with a plethora of customizable options such as monitoring real-time system information, or even switching to "weather mode", which will match the weather from the user's set IP address to display their current regional weather. Users may also upload their favorite images or GIFs to add some extra flair and to make their PC feel truly unique.

"Build on Our Legacy" - Expanding on the classic series of The Tower, we combined the best features of the 900 and 100 to bring you an additional selection in between. The latest version includes climate mode and time mode for users to expand the usage of our LCD displays.

Powerful cooling performance for 360 mm AIOs

The enclosed radiator bracket can be installed on the right side, supporting up to a 360 mm All-in-One radiator or any LCS radiators under 399 mm. The space is sufficient for a push-pull configuration, with a total of six fans installed on the radiator to pursue extreme performance. The right-side panel can also be flipped 180 degrees to allow direct heat extraction from the mesh and further enhance ventilation.

Say goodbye to heat congestion

The vertical design of the Tower Series products adopts a chimney effect to direct the heat vertically. With the Tower 500's reimagined thermal design, you can pursue extreme system performance without worries.

We've tested everything, so you don't have to

At Thermaltake, we always stress test our products under harsh conditions to ensure product quality. The Tower 500 products were tested at 100% full load for 30 minutes, with the most high-end CPU, GPU, and motherboard at the time of test, while paring with a consumer-style setup, allowing us to test how the chassis performs under real-world situations.

Brilliant airflow & Incredible performance

Thermal images were taken during thermal testing. As you can see in the below photos, we were able to ensure that the cold air intakes and hot air exhausts are well-developed when designing this chassis, ensuring the interior temperature stays low and stable at all times.

Blow your world away with 2 powerful pre-installed cooling fans

2x 120 mm pre-installed rear fans were tested to be placed at specific positions to enhance cooling performance, preventing overheating for the CPU and GPU.

Choose the way you install

The Tower 500 has a new fan bracket that can be either installed vertically or horizontally to house 2 extra 120 mm fans or a 240 mm radiator.

Cleaning made easy, we've got you covered

Covered by seven magnetic easily detachable particle filters, the chassis is designed to keep out dust, dirt, and grime. The quick release mechanism makes cleaning easy and straightforward giving the user more freedom to what they like while spending less time on maintenance.

How much storage is totally up to you

The equipped HDD bracket for 3.5" or 2.5" hard drives can be expanded to mount up to eight 3.5" HDDs or four 3.5" HDDs plus eight 2.5" SSDs for additional space-saving.

Everything you need is located in one place

Four USB 3.0 ports and one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C are placed on the top panel to grant direct access when needed.
