EVGA RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN HYBRID Now Available for 2500 USD, Comes Bundled with a 1600 W PSU

EVGA has finally unveiled their flagship RTX 3090 Ti graphics card with the Kingpin Hybrid Gaming which will come bundled with a "free" SuperNOVA 1600 P2 power supply for a total cost of 2500 USD. The card features dual 16-pin power connectors requiring a total of six 8-pin power cables which is one less then the 9 available on the bundled SuperNOVA 1600 P2. The onboard cooling system consists of a single fan on the card for VRM cooling along with an external triple fan 360 mm radiator for the GPU.

This liquid cooling setup is similar to that found on the EVGA FTW3 Hybrid RTX 3090 Ti model however the Kingpin Hybrid adds some additional features such as the integrated flip-up OLED display for monitoring. The PCB also includes several features dedicated to overclocking including voltage monitoring headers and a three-way selectable BIOS with normal, OC, and LN2 settings. EVGA also offers the PowerLink 52U as an optional accessory for the power cables to improve cable management. The EVGA RTX 3090 Ti Kingpin Hybrid Gaming is now available to purchase bundled with a SuperNOVA 1600 P2 for 2500 USD at a limit of one per household.

What's the point if 4080 is going to perform better than this GPU and be a lot cheaper? A bit too late for collection folks?

Bit late but the unlimited budget ocers will add this to the rest of the Kingpin cards they've got. And might set some new records on LN2.

I just wish they'd do a proper full cover block for the damn thing and have done with it... This half way hydro thing doesn't do a thing for me.... At that price the block should be coming with it not having to buy it on top....

I suppose as least you'll be able to power the damn thing tho.....

Old memes are becoming reality. Next step is not a generator by the way - the most logical thing (at least to me) to bundle with something that's going to consume upwards of 1kw for hours on end is an air conditioner! Free idea for retailers right here.

Better yet, sell it with no cooler attached at all
These are supposed to be for LN2 overclocking, buying them for any other reason is silly

If the asus 3090 with a normal single layer 240 AIO can do 59 C / 72 Hotspot memory on the quiet bios, this 360 must be sub 50 C

they should start doing double layer 240 / 360, for such a premium product.

Hmm so is the future for gpu's, that they will come with a psu as power consumption just goes up and up.

Is this a hint for rtx 4090 perhaps?

No matter what, I suggest people wait for rtx 4000 series over this. 2500 usd is a butt load of money. Specially in these inflation infected times.

Cool card, but no thanks. It comes to late and rtx 4000 coming up here in 2H2022.

DavenI’ll wait for the inevitable small nuclear electric generator to be added to the bundle. One will be needed to power this guy:

videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-4090-to-feature-2520-mhz-boost-clock-almost-50-higher-than-rtx-3090
IF this rumor is anywhere near true (I’m betting power consumption is fairly accurate because I’ve seen multiple leaks confirming it’s a power hog) I’m personally hoping very much the AMD cards launch at a similar time and have relatively close performance with WAY WAY WAY less power use…or at least are relatively efficient in comparison to this. I don’t mind using plenty of juice for my cpu and gpu but I do want it to be within reason and not need LN2 to cool it!

hey eVGA (i know you're looking)
$1200 kingpin
$350 1600 watt PSU

$1550 tops

now you have a clue.

late edit: the kingpin branding is not as meaningful, you should have never dropped the classified SKUs to jack up the premiums. . . just saying.

While we all believe the 4080 will beat or at least match any existing 30X0 card, you can only dream about it being cheap.

Why do the radiator fans have circular frames? Also, as others have mentioned, no full-coverage block?

I expect better from such an expensive card.

I mentioned cheaper than this 3090Ti, not cheap in general.

Good news for us 3090 Kingpin owners who put the 10y warranty on our cards should anything ever go awry.

If so that's really funny because my card came with three years and I can purchase up to 10 right now if I felt like it.

As fucking joke as any 3090 ti for ripping you off price/perf wise yes. One doesn't really purchase a 3090 ti for cost effectiveness, and regardless, that is it's pricepoint.

Imagine what this would have cost if GPUs were still jacked up in price.

That's why you never buy this stuff when it first comes out. Also, who knows what kind of bugs & glitches will be present with the software/hardware.

These cards are definitely not intended for systems with small PSUs. I can't wait to see what their next gen workstation cards are going to be like. Hopefully double the CUDA cores vs more VRAM.

I'm sure there are enough rabid EVGA fans that will buy these.

Any takers TPU
