Genesis Unveils Irid 505F Case with Oxal 120 Fans

Genesis have just added a new PC case, Irid 505F, to its portfolio. The model is based on the existing Irid 505 v2 design with modifications, for example new Oxal 120 fans. The Genesis Irid 505F case includes as many as five installed 120 mm Genesis Oxal fans with a maximum RPM of 1300. What's more, when compared to the existing Irid 505 model, the new product is equipped with a thicker front mesh with <0.8 mm openings. These are smaller than in standard anti-dust filters, which translates into better filtering.

The Irid 505F boasts better ventilation efficiency, providing great cooling for components with power intake ca 500 W. The set also includes two splitters for smaller power distribution for FAN sockets on the motherboard. The Genesis Irid 505F is priced at USD $74.99.

280 should fit. Unless it's a 30mm+ thick rad, and 25mm+fans. I know as I'm looking at a gap between my P14 fans on top and a VRM "heatsink" on my B450 Tomahawk Max. Same case, different branding.

Mind the dust, my phone lost its camera cover. And my PC is ready for cleaning as well.

Not only that...

It also comes close to a Phanteks design front.

Yeah yeah those too, it's in the op's post.

I was just trying to figure out what @PCL was getting to being air flow restricted. How ever i my self don't like the bottom of the case blocked off like this so maybe that's what they were getting at.

To me it's asking for trouble due to the fact water and electronics are a terrible combo, then they have the awesome idea to put a PSU at the bottom too.

But anyways looks pretty decent for what suppossed to be priced around $75, is a shame though that the bottom cannot be used for air flow too.

I think he was referring to this:

I could agree, for a cheap generic case it does the job well. Mine is a bit different, and I would say better in that regard:

Those two keep the GPU fans at 0RPM out of gaming. Without them the card would reach threshold and turn on the fans even while browsing, YT etc., cool it down under 50C, turn off and repeat. Annoying AF.
Also, the front mesh is not "improved". :D The first thing i did is removing the front dust filter which was kinda embeded on the inner side of the grille. This is the actual case:

I'm not a fan of traditional PSU position, neither top nor bottom. That's why I like my Q500L, but the double (vertical) chamber cases are much better.
