Just about to post this myself :)

Just in time to continue ATI's monthly driver updates (although not if you live in Australia).

I just got done downloading 7.5, but I'm gonna stay with 7.4 for a little bit, I don't feel like doing comparisons, which I must do if I update, just habit now LoL. From what I've read Doom 3 and Quake 4 see increases for 1900s and 1950's, but I don't play either anymore, so that's not really useful for me. I may wait till I see someone post something good about it before I install.

wow! Earthsim is fantastic, just finished downloading all the updates. Its like google earth, except all the images are rendered real time, and you will have the ability to go forwards/backwards in time and see the effects, as well as having built in documentary style information and commentaries. I thinks its pretty damn cool, also works as a screen saver too

The good news for X1950Pro users is that the flickering screen with Overdrive has gone from both Vista and XP versions. It only took them five driver releases to work that one out, LOL

Umm... have I missed something or is that just a random off-topic comment? I don't have any problem if it is, I was just wondering where it came from

Any ideas on what the new LCD Overdrive feature is for ?
I can move the slider, but cant tell if it effects anything.

Apart from that all i can say is the update works fine on my x800 and 1950pro cards and as mentioned above the overclocking overdrive feature finaly works (1950pro) :).

I suggest you to not touch that lcd overdrive thing. it can be risky and damage to your screen besides I think its unneccesary.

7.5 CCC works faster rhan old ones.
I hope performance is better too
buy if you use ati tool make sure you close that program and reboot your computer without running it.
uninstall your ex drivers then make a clean install.
if you dont do like that you can get an error and your machine could not open cuz it reset everytime. it got happend to me

Wow... that pic was really dark. I had to turn my screen brightness up to nearly full - and even then it still looked washed out. Have you played around with some brightness setting in Windows?
