The "anime" is not even good but at least DMC 5 is a lot better than Stellar Blade. Maybe "some" people tried the Stellar Blade demo and bought DMC 5 instead...who knows.

I enjoyed it as a stand alone project but it bugged me that Nero voiced Dante, I love JYB but not as Dante.... The OG anime is much better though.

I felt like it was pretty dull, I guess there will be a second season (and that they knew there would be another one) but that was a pretty weak for a first season. The "anime" is so slow it doesn't match the games atmosphere, I didn't like it.

Yeah, it was pretty divisive but I'm hoping they take the criticism and make a better second season it is Netflix so I'm not holding my breath and if it wss amazing they'd probably had canceled it.

It has moments I really liked but overall the pacing was definitely off the anthology like setting of the original anime with the last episode kinda wrapping it all together was definitely better. I'm a little tired of the tragic villain trope in general though.

They probably should have just made it about Nero and it likely would have been better with Dante as a secondary character but they want people excited about Dante who just felt more like Nero to me anyways.

Yeah only 2 or 3 episodes were good in term of fighting (for me), maybe they would go hardcore in the second season because it seems it worked in term of audience. But..I guess there are a lot of people like me who watched the first season/were baited like me :D

We will see, I hope for the best.
