Hyte Unveils All-New Gundam Wing Product Line Made in Collaboration With Bandai Namco

HYTE, a leading manufacturer of cutting-edge PC components and peripherals, and leading video game publisher and developer Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., are thrilled to share details of an all-new PC component and peripheral lineup themed after the iconic MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM WING anime series. These new items, including a new PC case, keycaps, and other accessories, are now available for pre-order on HYTE.com and via Canada Computers, HYTE's official Canadian launch partner. The lineup will also be on display at iBUYPOWER's booth during this year's Anime Expo.

To celebrate Gundam Wing's 30th anniversary, the Official Gundam Wing Y70 touch infinite Limited Edition case features a custom white colorway with stylized black trim across the case, and a variety of accented components based on the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero's color scheme. These include a bright yellow power button, red feet for the case, yellow drive bays and PCIE slot covers, and a red PCIE40 4.0 Luxury Riser Cable from HYTE. In addition to the Wing Gundam Zero UV-printed inside the glass, the Y70 touch infinite display will also feature unique, custom start-up visuals inspired by the anime and will be exclusive to those who bought this specific case.
"A lot of us at HYTE closely follow the gaming and anime scene, and one of the companies we admired was Bandai Namco Entertainment, as they are responsible for many popular games and series we enjoy," said King Perez, Marketing Executive Producer of iBUYPOWER / HYTE. "It was very humbling to be chosen as an official licensee for Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. We poured a lot of love, detail and attention to the case's design, and we are excited to bring another way fans can celebrate the anime's anniversary."

HYTE's Gundam Wing product line-up also features the Official HYTE Gundam Wing Limited Edition Keycap Set, Desk Pad, and an extra-large Wall Scroll all sold separately. The keycap set comes with 152 individual caps that are fully compatible with most ANSI and UK ISO keyboards. The keycaps utilize Gundam Wing's color scheme and iconography to highlight the anime's two iconic mechs - XXXG-01W Gundam Wing and OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon. The Desk Pad is an extra wide format at 900 mm x 400 mm that showcases Mobile Suit Gundam Wing's artwork with high visual fidelity. The Official HYTE Gundam Wing Limited Edition Wall Scroll features all five of the main mobile suits of the Gundam Wing series.

The case and some small items will be on display in iBUYPOWER's booth at Anime Expo 2025, which will be held at Booth E-55 in the Entertainment Hall.

iBUYPOWER, HYTE's sister company, will also release an RDY prebuilt gaming PC using the Gundam Wing HYTE Y70 touch infinite Limited Edition case. Details on exact specifications, price, and launch timing will be shared at a later date.

If that is Canadian bucks that works out to roughly $570CAD after tax. Probably one of the most expensive cases I have seen..

If that is American bucks, then that works out to like 750CAD after tax..

Not needed, but I like themed hardware, it's more fun than the usual plain gaming cases or keyboards.

Wing? Dang, that's nostalgic. lol

I remember watching the show as a kid. I rewatched it some years later as an adult, and man, the plot is so stupid. The actual mobile suit designs are some of my favourite though.
