AMD launches Athlon 64 FX-57 in the end of June

After the official launch of the Athlon 64 X2, AMD will introduce the Athlon 64 FX-57 this month. People are saying, that the launch date will be June 27, 2005. Like the 3700+ and the 4000+ it is based on the 90nm San Diego core, runs at 2.8Ghz and has 1MB L2 cache as well as the SSE3 instructions. Prices aren't known yet.
However, most probably, it will cost around 800 $ as its predecessor, the Athlon 64 FX-55.
