Just goes to show that MS's PR agency is successful at placing this type of free "info-news-case-study = marketing bumpf". I guess they are doing a good job and deserve their $ for marketing without an advertising budget.

But if they get paid on a performance contract, like a $ for each website hosting this news, and too many websites fall for this trick... it just encourages this type of behaviour and we will get more of of this type of marketing rubbish in the future.

In other news,

The Open Office development team used Open Office to analyse the performance of Open Office and used Open Office email to send the analysis to the Open Office marketing team so they could let us know how successful Open Office is, and that you can use a great product like Open Office to analyse Open Office! In fact, if you install Open Office on your PC, you can use this link: forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=35514 to download and read the case study in Open Office document format of how Open Office was analysed using Open Office.

Hotmail is still around?

Pity.

I had assumed Gmail butchered everything else.

xD
