Server move completed

We finally completed our server move. The specs of the new server are:
  • Dual Xeon 2.8 GHz, HT & EM64T enabled
  • 2GB Dual Channel DDR2
  • SCSI HDDs
  • 100 MBit connection
  • Fedora Core 4, PHP5, MySQL4
This should greatly reduce load times. Sorry for the downtime/unreachable problems. If you spot any other issues please let us know immediately.

We now have an extra server standing around. If you have any suggestions what we should use it for, post here.

ideas we have right now:

- free image hosting for people who need a place where to store their images when they want to post them in forums for example
- free hosting for hardware/gaming related projects
- re dan's request "is using it for ddos on ppl i dont like legal?" - nope

i think i got most of them fixed this seems to be a known issue with vbulletin/mysql .. it seems some are still broken .. for these i have no idea how they could be fixed.. maybe spread the word in threads where people are experiencing this .. if some really important images need to be recovered post here please and i'll manually copy them over from the old database

What about some game server? Enemy Territory for example...? Maybe not very serviceable, but would be great entertaiment and in contrast for this site and forum.
