No more GTA:SA for now

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has been taken out of the stores and out of production. It appears there was some pornographic content in it that could be unlocked using a mod. Unlike most of us the ESRB prefers violence over pr0n, therefor the game is rated Adults Only now. Rockstar plans to remaster the game without the adult content and release it as M (mature) again that way.
Luckily for some people the ratings aren't legally binding in all countries. The odds are that you can still buy GTA:SA if you don't have it already, otherwise you'd have to wait for a version without the adult code.

That is so stupid, that is what the US has a rating system for. I guess some people just need something to complain about. Not to mention when I was in the teenage years there were systems that produced porngraphic games. Plus there are porngraphic games for the PC.

Americans are slowly lossing our freedoms, it should be the parents that regulate the things kids see and the games kids purchase.

Man that makes me made!!!!!!!!!!! And I dont even have a system to where I could play GTA:SA

The ESRB rates games based on the content that developers give to them. The developer makes a report of what type of gameplay and what type of content is in their game, and the ESRB gives the rating based off of that. All this happned because Rockstar did not divulge the sex mini game to the ESRB or because Rockstar forgot to take out the sex mini game before distribution.

If you have to download a mod to play it, then that is 3rd party content. It is NOT accessible without the mod, therefor even if it wasnt locked into the game, it could be ADDED with 3rd party mods. Therefore this is a bullshit decision, does every game that gets a porno mod need to be banned? Sims, Halo, Doom, Half Life 1 and 2... it goes on.
There is a new mod for HL2 that makes Alyx naked with boob physics :D , will HL2 be banned?

I agree totally with wazzledozle.

I agree mods are 3rd party, I hope they dont hold Rockstar liable. But you know how these things work out.

Last I heard the hack had been found in the PS2 version as well, so it seems the code was buried in the game all the time...
