Age of Empires III Goes Gold

Age of Empires III has gone gold. It will be released for PC on October 18th. There will be a standard edition and a collectors edition.The previous two Age of Empire games have sold more than 16 million copies worldwide.

The minimum system requirements for the game are:
  • 1.4 Ghz processor
  • 2 GB of hard drive space
  • 256 mb of RAM
  • At least a 64 mb video card that supports hardware transform and lighting
  • Windows XP
  • At least a 56K modem for online play

What the hell, why did they say 56k support? Now we will have to deal with a bunch of people on crappy old dells with shitty dial up connections.

No games have worked well on dial up since the first tribes.
