Patriot's Introduces Torqx Solid-State Drive, latest in SSD Buffered Technology
Patriot Memory, a global pioneer in high-performance memory, NAND flash and computer technology, today announced the release of their Torqx SSD Series.
The Torqx SSD line is one of Patriot's latest releases designed with Patriot's new cutting-edge technology that adds 64MB of DRAM cache in conjunction with its current equipped NAND technology.
"With SSD technologies becoming more 'mainstream' in the consumer market, Patriot's goal is to give their customers discretion across their purchasing preferences," says Meng J. Choo, Patriot's Flash Product Manager. Better late than never.
Unless of course it is the NAME OF THE PRODUCT...
I'm SO PLEASED yet another SSD product has a name with an X at the end. Those X's really add value dont they? Without the X people might perceive the drive to be slower than the competition's "X" model.
Well, I'm going to RAID 3 of these together so I can rest peacefully at night knowing my high-speed pr0n is safe.
