Sapphire Announces BLIZZARD Radeon X1900 XTX

Sapphire Technology has just introduced a new Blizzard liquid cooled model in its Radeon X1900 series. Taking up a single PCI slot in addition to the PCI-Express slot occupied by the graphics card, the new Blizzard cooler is a sealed and silent liquid cooling solution. Maximum efficiency is achieved by the use of a Pure Copper Water Block on the GPU and a silent and powerful 12V mini pump. Air is extracted from the case by an integral transparent blue LED fan, passed through the radiator and vented out of the case at the rear mounting bracket. Two speeds of operation give a choice of lower noise or higher efficiency (18dBA at 2000RPM, 26dBA at 2500RPM). The Blizzard cooler was developed in conjunction with Thermaltake and is exclusive to Sapphire.

Jeesh I wish I started a company that does nothing but slap stickers on other peoples inventions! I may just do that with blenders.

It's pretty close but it does have differences. The biggest difference is the almost silent operation. The Tidewater is pretty loud.

Tide water also takes up two huge slots and is really huge! bigger and longer than the 1900 XTX but in the pic they're about same size so its not a TT TideWater.

Ok so they changed the fan and put their logo on it. How does that make it not the tide water?

I love Techpowerup! I just learned something new. Now I'm surprised they don't have a kit that uses a 5.25" drive bay for the radiator and fan as an alternative, but economy of scale prevents it - I guess. My system would not have room for the PCI configuration.

Hm... not a bad solution, but I would prefer if Sapphire made "WC ready cards" with a Maze 4 or something of the sort... so you can just hook it up to your current WC setup...

Just realized that you cant get this cooler without the card. It looks smaller and supposedly is more quiet than tidewater. But does come with own OC utility software called TRIXX, maybe this will help the development of AtiTool...or not.
