The AMD A6-9120C SoC is a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in January 2019. It is part of the A4 lineup, using the Stoney Ridge architecture with Socket FT4. A6-9120C SoC has 1 MB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1600 MHz by default, but can boost up to 2.4 GHz, depending on the workload. AMD is building the A6-9120C SoC on a 28 nm production process using 1,200 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on A6-9120C SoC, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 6 W, the A6-9120C SoC consumes extremely little energy. AMD's processor supports DDR3 memory. This processor features the Radeon R4 integrated graphics solution. Hardware virtualization is available on the A6-9120C SoC, which greatly improves virtual machine performance. Programs using Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) will run on this processor, boosting performance for calculation-heavy applications. Besides AVX, AMD is including the newer AVX2 standard, too, but not AVX-512.
