The Intel Celeron J4105 was a mobile processor with 4 cores, launched in December 2017, at an MSRP of $107. It is part of the Celeron lineup, using the Goldmont Plus architecture with BGA 1090. Celeron J4105 has 4 MB of L2 cache and operates at 1500 MHz by default, but can boost up to 2.5 GHz, depending on the workload. Intel is building the Celeron J4105 on a 14 nm production process, the transistor count is unknown. The multiplier is locked on Celeron J4105, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 10 W, the Celeron J4105 consumes very little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR4 memory with a dual-channel interface. The highest officially supported memory speed is 2400 MT/s, but with overclocking (and the right memory modules) you can go even higher. For communication with other components in the computer, Celeron J4105 uses a PCI-Express Gen 2 connection. This processor features the UHD Graphics 600 integrated graphics solution. Hardware virtualization is available on the Celeron J4105, which greatly improves virtual machine performance. Additionally, IOMMU virtualization (PCI passthrough) is supported, so that guest virtual machines may directly use host hardware.
